When we opened our interior design concept store called casamare, it was with the goal of helping our clients create interiors that feel like being on vacation.

 

The shop in downtown Delray Beach is a quiet and intimate space where clients can get our undivided attention and experience the products in person before making a purchase. 

 

casamare provides a carefully curated selection of brands - an oasis of products crafted with finest quality materials by European craftsmen. Italian furniture, textiles from Greece, lighting from Czech Republic, rugs from Turkey - it’s all in the mix.

 

We travel for inspiration, always searching for fresh ideas and unique brands. We choose organic, natural and handmade items – it is a way of supporting local shops and communities and their artisanal way of life built on forming and maintaining long term relationships. We return to Italy, Hungary and Greece every year always discovering new treasures and inspiration in both architecture and furniture design.

 

“I was born in Budapest and I studied and practiced law there. But being a Libra, I always had an eye and love for beautiful things, and I was trying to create harmony and function in my surroundings. 

 

We love living by the water. Somehow, we need to be near water in order to feel balanced. The lake in Hungary and the beach here and the Mediterranean became very important parts of our lives”.

 

“Our happy place is the Cycladic Islands in Greece: Folegandros, Paros, Antiparos, Mykonos. And of course, Athens. I find so much inspiration every time we visit. Over the years we collected so many friends in Greece - they make us feel at home the moment we arrive. The jewelry and beach towels at Casamare were discovered during a trip to Greece”. 

 

The idea to open the shop and to bring those beautiful objects to Florida was born during one of those trips as well. It was to bring to South Florida the love for the beach life, Mediterranean way.
